St Heliers Heavy Horse Heritage Field Day
The horses compete in show ring classes, ploughing, log snigging, pumpkin snatch, slide and vehicle obstacle courses. Great entertainment assured for competitors and spectators alike! On Sunday there will be an all breeds foal show with a parade of historical horse drawn vehicles and implements.

Highlights Concert 2010
In the first half of each year, Muswellbrook community hosts the Muswellbrook & Upper Hunter Eisteddfod. This year was the 19th Annual Eisteddfod. The Highlights Concert brings together the BEST OF THE BEST showcasing some of the outstanding performances in each division. Instrumental ~ Dance ~ Vocal ~ School Choirs & Bands ~ Speech Drama & Public Speaking ~ Literacy ~ Piano.

3rd Annual Collectors Fair

You will find lots of soul mates who can talk for hours about their favourite pieces. Here is your opportunity to share your passion with other ‘mad collectors’ at Denman. The 3rd annual Upper Hunter Collectors Fair is a forum for collectors to share their knowledge and promote & encourage collecting as a hobby to all ages including children.

Callicoma Hill Eco-home Walk & Talk
Join our morning guided 2 hour eco-home tour of Callicoma Hill eco-cabins, which includes a detailed explanation of two environmentally responsible buildings – one a mudbrick & timber cottage and the other a pair of integrated retrofitted cabins. Both feature independent solar electricity systems, energy efficient design and appliances, and a constructed wetland wastewater treatment system. An afternoon guided bushwalk will follow in nearby Mount Royal National Park. The walk with spectacular mountain and forest views is described in the 20 Great Hunter Region Walks map produced by Callicoma Hill. The day will conclude with a BBQ and campfire discussion about sustainable building, living and design, and more. BYO lunch and BBQ dinner. Shared accommodation is available on Sunday evening at Callicoma Hill eco-cabin or bring a tent and camp. Please note that the day is unfortunately not suitable for children.
